Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Manage and process public records requests with strict adherence to confidentiality protocols
- Coordinate weekend scheduling for departmental facilities and equipment usage
- Assist with document preparation, scanning, and digital archiving systems
- Support public outreach initiatives by distributing informational materials
- Maintain accurate records of weekend transactions and departmental activities
- Collaborate with weekday staff to ensure continuity of operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to obtain background clearance for government employment
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm)
