Responsibilities
- Conduct weekend inspections of public facilities to verify compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Document violations and generate detailed compliance reports using digital reporting systems
- Coordinate with emergency response teams during weekend infrastructure incidents
- Maintain accurate records of weekend compliance activities in government databases
- Provide weekend on-site guidance to contractors and municipal staff
- Participate in weekend community outreach initiatives related to public safety
- Collaborate with weekday compliance officers for seamless operational continuity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of regulatory compliance experience in government sector
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible weekend schedule (Friday-Sunday, 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency in government compliance software and GIS mapping tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English/Spanish
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background clearance
- Certification in OSHA safety standards preferred
