Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce institutional regulations to ensure safety and compliance
- Conduct regular security patrols and headcounts in designated areas
- Respond to emergencies, medical incidents, and behavioral crises with trained protocols
- Document daily operations, incident reports, and inmate behavior using digital systems
- Collaborate with healthcare, counseling, and rehabilitation teams for inmate welfare
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment, supplies, and facility security measures
- Participate in continuous training programs for security procedures and legal updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
