Responsibilities
- Provide Exceptional Customer Support: Assist the public and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person during weekend operations.
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle data entry, form processing, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth agency operations.
- Issue Resolution: Address inquiries regarding state services, permits, and regulations with patience and professionalism.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the weekday team to ensure continuity of service and hand over critical information.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality agreements.
- System Management: Utilize internal government software and databases to track requests and update records.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-related software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate difficult situations.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Driver’s License: Valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License may be required depending on the specific role within ADOT.
