Responsibilities
- Maintain secure detention facility operations during weekend shifts
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce safety protocols
- Process intake/release procedures with legal compliance
- Conduct routine security inspections and incident reports
- Coordinate with weekend medical and support staff
- Respond to emergency situations per departmental guidelines
Qualifications
- Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year corrections or security experience
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
- Pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desirable
