Responsibilities
- Manage weekend document processing and record-keeping for city departments
- Respond to citizen inquiries via phone and digital channels during weekend hours
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and interdepartmental communications
- Process permits, licenses, and applications submitted during weekends
- Maintain secure data systems and ensure compliance with municipal regulations
- Prepare weekend shift reports for senior leadership review
- Support weekend public events and administrative functions as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years government or administrative experience
- Valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and municipal databases
- Ability to obtain City of Chicago security clearance within 30 days
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with rotating holidays
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background check
