Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily intake procedures and case processing for the Weekend Operations Unit.
- Liaise between government agencies, community partners, and program participants to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during weekend operations.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and county regulations regarding social services and case management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic records and databases for all active cases.
- Resolve complex issues and escalations from staff or the public during off-hours operations.
- Prepare detailed reports and statistical data regarding weekend service metrics for leadership review.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in government operations, social services, or administrative coordination.
- Must be available to work full-time hours, primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of Los Angeles County government policies and procedures is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
