Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned city areas during weekend shifts to maintain public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents
- Enforce municipal ordinances and state laws
- Provide assistance to citizens and tourists in need
- Document incidents and maintain detailed reports
- Collaborate with emergency services and city departments
- Participate in community outreach programs
- Conduct property and area security checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Louisiana Peace Officer certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work weekends and holidays consistently
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience in law enforcement, security, or related field preferred
