Responsibilities
- Supervise inmate activities and enforce facility regulations
- Conduct regular security patrols and surveillance monitoring
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with professional crisis management
- Perform searches of persons, property, and living areas
- Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
- Assist in inmate transportation as needed
- Collaborate with shift supervisors and fellow officers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Complete state-mandated training academy
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Physical fitness for security duties
