Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV patrols and physical inspections to prevent security breaches
- Control access points, verify credentials, and issue visitor passes
- Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents following department protocols
- Prepare detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct safety inspections and report facility maintenance needs
- Enforce government security regulations and access control policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid New Mexico Security Guard License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm shifts)
- Proficient in incident reporting and surveillance systems
- Must pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification required
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
