Responsibilities
- Process unemployment insurance claims and eligibility determinations with 99% accuracy
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and in-person weekend appointments
- Manage confidential case files and documentation following HIPAA/PII protocols
- Coordinate cross-agency referrals for social services and benefit programs
- Train and mentor part-time weekend staff on procedures and compliance standards
- Generate weekly performance reports utilizing state analytics platforms
- Participate in quarterly emergency response drills for weekend service continuity
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years customer service experience with complex systems
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state benefit databases
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Fluency in English with bilingual Spanish skills highly desirable
- Successfully pass federal background check and security clearance
