Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and virtual citizen services during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 8am-5pm)
- Process vital records, permits, and licensing applications with precision
- Coordinate emergency response protocols and inter-agency communications
- Manage facility security and weekend operational logistics
- Document service metrics and prepare weekly impact reports
- Train on specialized state systems and compliance protocols
- Support disaster recovery and weekend public health initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 2+ years customer service experience in government/nonprofit
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in NC state service platforms (NCID, NC FAST)
- Ability to obtain security clearance within 90 days
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
- Availability to work every weekend with holiday rotation
- Emergency management certification (FEMA preferred)
