Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints focusing on quantum applications, AI governance frameworks, and carbon-neutral tech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative R&D initiatives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential for 2026-2030
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact analyses
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused project prioritization and resource allocation
- Mentor a team of 8-12 technologists and futurists through agile development methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record in commercializing at least two cutting-edge technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems and academic research institutions
- Certifications in Agile/Scrum and technology management (e.g., CTO, PMP)
