Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems for 50k+ veterans
- Lead cybersecurity protocols for HIPAA-compliant data infrastructure
- Coordinate with VA medical centers across Ohio on system integrations
- Develop disaster recovery plans for mission-critical applications
- Mentor junior IT staff on federal compliance standards
- Implement cloud migration strategies for legacy systems
- Collaborate with external vendors on technology procurement
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Certification in AWS/Azure and HIPAA compliance
- Expertise in Epic EMR systems and FHIR standards
- Demonstrated project leadership with $500k+ budgets
- Strong knowledge of NIST cybersecurity frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with VA-specific IT systems preferred
