Responsibilities
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments: Perform comprehensive security scans and penetration testing on federal systems to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Manage Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to NIST 800-53, FISMA, and FedRAMP regulations.
- Incident Response: Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate with law enforcement and private sector partners.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement secure network architectures for cloud and on-premise federal environments.
- Policy Development: Develop and update security policies and procedures to enhance organizational resilience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications: Active Security+, CISSP, or CISM certification is mandatory.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in federal or government IT security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AWS/GCP security controls.
