Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with 3-7 year impact
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Innovation Framework using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models against disruptive forces
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory thinking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent field
- 5+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or technology trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences and industry conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or innovation roadmaps
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy or equivalent)
