Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal information systems in compliance with NIST 800-171 and FISMA standards.
- Perform day-to-day system administration, including patch management, user access control, and hardware maintenance.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security monitoring to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and software.
- Document system configurations and maintain detailed technical logs for audit readiness.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal federal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems administration and cybersecurity.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CCNP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of federal IT regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, government-contracted environment.
