Responsibilities
- Strategize and execute R&D roadmaps for 2026-era technologies including quantum computing applications and AI-driven autonomous systems
- Lead interdisciplinary teams of engineers, designers, and futurists through the full product lifecycle from concept to commercialization
- Identify emerging market trends and competitive landscape to inform innovation priorities
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Present breakthrough concepts to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor junior talent in future-focused methodologies and disruptive thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation leadership with proven track record of launching market-defining products
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, or sustainable energy)
- Strong background in agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with published research in future technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning skills with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable roadmaps
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D funding
