Core Responsibilities:

- Design and implement low-latency firmware for direct neural signal acquisition and transmission.
- Optimize 2026 Neural Interface Stack protocols to support real-time cognitive augmentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of neuroscientists and AI researchers to refine signal processing algorithms.
- Ensure biocompatibility and safety standards compliance for consumer-grade neural hardware.
- Mentor junior engineers in high-performance computing and embedded systems.
- Drive the roadmap for next-generation non-invasive sensing modalities.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems, FPGA programming, or GPU acceleration (CUDA).
- Deep understanding of signal processing, noise reduction, and machine learning for time-series data.
- Experience with real-time operating systems and low-latency communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, 5G/6G).
- Proven track record of shipping complex hardware-software integrations.
