Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum architectures supporting 100+ qubit operations
- Develop proprietary quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to future cryptographic threats
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and hardware-software co-design
- Present breakthrough findings at premier quantum computing conferences
- Shape industry standards through IEEE and Quantum Computing Working Group participation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent top-tier journals
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong background in complex system architecture and high-performance computing
- Proven track record of leading technical teams in quantum computing projects
