Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum processor architectures for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to achieve logical qubit stability beyond 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum networks)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical system constraints
- Present quantum roadmaps to executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Author technical white papers on quantum computing advancements for scientific publication
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction methodologies
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum complexity theory
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or equivalent industry breakthrough contributions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model quantum systems mathematically
- Leadership experience managing technical teams in R&D environments
