Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 Technical Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for state employees during night operations.
- Monitor Systems: Proactively monitor network infrastructure and server health to ensure uninterrupted service for government agencies.
- User Assistance: Provide remote and on-site support to ensure a seamless user experience for internal stakeholders.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and manage IT incidents and service requests through the ticketing system.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict state security protocols and data protection regulations during night shifts.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on workstations and peripherals.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of IT support or help desk experience in a professional environment.
- Availability: Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a background check required for state employment.
