Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for state departments.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to support executive reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend data-driven strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a similar analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Excel for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
