Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate 24/7 radio communication systems and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software.
  • Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls from the public and law enforcement officers.
  • Dispatch appropriate emergency responders (Police, Fire, Medical) to incidents based on location and severity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date incident logs and status reports.
  • Coordinate inter-agency communications and resource allocation during large-scale events or emergencies.
  • Provide information and directions to callers in a professional, calm, and efficient manner.
  • Perform routine system checks and equipment maintenance to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Safety or related field preferred.
