We are seeking a visionary 2D Interactive Web Developer to join Apex Digital Systems. In this role, you will lead the creation of immersive, high-performance 2D web applications using advanced HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL technologies. Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex 2D interactive graphics using the HTML5 Canvas API and WebGL.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure smooth 60fps animations across devices.
- Create scalable SVG assets and animations that enhance user engagement.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to define interaction behaviors and animation timelines.
- Maintain and refactor existing codebases to improve maintainability and performance.
- Stay updated on emerging web graphics technologies and implement them where applicable.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in 2D web development, specifically with Canvas and SVG.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of browser rendering engines, memory management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP or Anime.js is a plus.
