Position Overview: As an Administrative Assistant, you'll provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our department. Your responsibilities will include managing communications, coordinating schedules, and maintaining accurate records.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Coordinate calendars and schedule appointments for department staff.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and expense reports.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Support special projects and events as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
