Responsibilities
- Support department operations with clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document management
- Assist with public inquiries via phone and in-person at the front desk
- Manage office supplies and coordinate procurement processes
- Prepare routine reports and maintain accurate department records
- Coordinate meeting logistics and assist with event preparation
- Learn and apply city policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support departmental goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the US
