Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications and medical records with precision
- Manage scheduling and correspondence for 15+ department heads
- Maintain confidential databases and filing systems (HIPAA compliance)
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement documentation
- Coordinate inter-agency communications and task deadlines
- Prepare routine reports and executive summaries
- Support veterans during in-person and virtual appointments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Minimum 1 year administrative/clerical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain background clearance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week (Monday-Friday)
