Responsibilities
- Manage departmental records, files, and documentation with strict adherence to government retention policies
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens, staff, and stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Coordinate administrative functions including scheduling, meeting logistics, and correspondence preparation
- Assist with budget tracking, procurement processes, and expense reporting
- Support data management and reporting requirements for departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of government records management protocols
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
