Responsibilities
- Process and track veteran benefit applications with precision and confidentiality
- Manage digital filing systems and maintain accurate records in compliance with federal regulations
- Coordinate scheduling for veteran appointments and department meetings
- Assist with budget tracking and procurement documentation
- Respond to veteran inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Support cross-functional teams with clerical tasks and data entry
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for veteran services
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to pass federal background check
