Responsibilities
- Manage departmental records, correspondence, and confidential documents
- Coordinate public meetings, scheduling, and logistics for city officials
- Process administrative tasks including permits, applications, and compliance forms
- Provide exceptional citizen support via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Maintain digital filing systems and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community projects
- Prepare reports and presentations for council meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years administrative experience in government/public sector
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license
