Responsibilities
- Manage municipal records and documentation systems with 99% accuracy
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and scheduling for executive staff
- Process public inquiries and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- Prepare official reports and correspondence for city council meetings
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Support grant application processes and budget documentation
- Train temporary staff on administrative procedures and protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or Business (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years government or public sector experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- US citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
- Advanced knowledge of municipal regulations and procurement processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with FOIA request processing
