Responsibilities
- Manage departmental records, databases, and document control systems
- Coordinate public meetings, agendas, and minute preparation
- Process permits, licenses, and citizen inquiries with strict compliance protocols
- Prepare budget reports and grant applications following municipal guidelines
- Serve as primary liaison between departments and external stakeholders
- Implement records retention policies and FOIA request procedures
- Support emergency response coordination during municipal operations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration or related field
- Minimum 3 years administrative experience in government or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and municipal software systems
- Knowledge of Minnesota public records laws and procurement processes
- Strong written communication skills for official correspondence
- Ability to manage competing priorities with strict deadlines
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass background clearance
