Responsibilities
- Coordinate departmental operations including scheduling, records management, and correspondence
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy and within SLA deadlines
- Prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite
- Serve as primary liaison between staff, leadership, and external partners
- Manage classified and unclassified documentation per federal guidelines
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
- Train new staff on administrative protocols and systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to pass background investigation and drug screening
