Responsibilities
- Manage departmental documentation, records, and filing systems
- Process travel reimbursements and purchase orders
- Coordinate meetings, scheduling, and logistics for 15+ staff
- Respond to public inquiries via phone/email with state protocols
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence using Microsoft Office
- Support budget tracking and procurement processes
- Maintain compliance with state record retention policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 3+ years administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid Texas driver's license (required for travel between sites)
- Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with government procurement systems preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) certification a plus
