Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along an assigned route in a timely and efficient manner.
- Sort and organize incoming mail and parcels before delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally.
- Maintain the safety of the mail vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Handle mail with care to ensure security and prevent damage.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) and walking long distances daily.
- Utilize scanning equipment and handheld devices for accurate tracking.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with the public.
- Ability to pass a background investigation and a drug test.
