Responsibilities
- Deliver Mail: Sort, bundle, and deliver mail along an assigned route in all weather conditions.
- Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers, answer inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a USPS vehicle (van or truck) to transport mail.
- Mail Handling: Handle mail with care, ensuring security and accuracy during transport and delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all USPS safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Route Management: Efficiently manage time and route adjustments to meet delivery targets.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
