Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages along a prescribed route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and process incoming mail and parcels to ensure efficient distribution.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and other employees.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and USPS operational procedures.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license (for City Carrier Assistant roles).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- Excellent physical stamina, reliability, and time management skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
