Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers along an assigned route in a safe and timely manner.
- Sort and organize mail efficiently before beginning the route to ensure accuracy.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to record delivery statuses and update tracking information.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the mail vehicle and work area.
- Adhere to all postal operational procedures, safety regulations, and performance standards.
- Handle sensitive mail with the highest level of confidentiality and care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Driver's License (Commercial Class B or standard Class C acceptable).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal right to work in the United States.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to walk/hike long distances on varying terrain.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging data.
