Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels along a fixed route in a timely and accurate manner.
- Sort and organize incoming mail and packages efficiently before distribution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and businesses along the route.
- Safely operate a USPS vehicle (car or van) in various weather conditions.
- Lift and handle packages weighing up to 70 lbs with proper technique.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and address changes.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and postal procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina required to walk and lift heavy objects daily.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather elements.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
