Responsibilities
- Oversee public record management, including document preservation and retrieval systems
- Manage city council agendas, minutes, and official documentation with precision
- Facilitate public records requests ensuring compliance with Texas open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Lead legislative tracking and ordinance implementation support
- Develop public-facing communication materials for city initiatives
- Train staff on records management protocols and compliance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in municipal records management or government administration
- Proficiency with records management software and document imaging systems
- Deep knowledge of Texas Open Records Act and municipal governance laws
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Experience with election administration processes
