Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve official city records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Oversee public information requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate municipal elections and voter registration processes with precision
- Administer oaths of office and notarial services for city officials
- Lead digital transformation of records management systems
- Facilitate public access to government information while maintaining legal compliance
- Train staff on records retention policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in municipal records management or public sector administration
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Deep understanding of Pennsylvania Sunshine Act and public records laws
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to handle confidential information
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
