Responsibilities
- Oversee all city records management, document preservation, and public records requests
- Administer municipal elections, voter registration, and campaign finance reporting
- Prepare, certify, and distribute official council meeting agendas and minutes
- Manage legislative tracking systems and ordinance codification
- Administer oaths of office, public records certifications, and notary services
- Coordinate with city departments to ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead records digitization and modernization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years of government records management or election administration experience
- Expertise in California election laws and public records compliance
- Advanced proficiency in record management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, DocuWare)
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
