- Support public hearings and community engagement initiatives
- Implement records management systems and digital archiving solutions
- Train staff on municipal record-keeping protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Expertise in FOIA compliance and public records laws
- Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche, SharePoint)
- Exceptional written communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of D.C. municipal codes and legislative processes
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Certification in Records Management (CRM) preferred
