Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and preserve all official city records, ordinances, and minutes
- Oversee public records requests and ensure timely, accurate responses
- Prepare and certify official documents including contracts, resolutions, and proclamations
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Serve as the official custodian of the city seal and records
- Coordinate with city departments to ensure record-keeping compliance
- Provide administrative support to the Mayor and City Council meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal government or records management experience
- Extensive knowledge of Oklahoma Open Records Act and municipal regulations
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems and MS Office Suite
- Valid Oklahoma Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
