Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Oversee City Council agenda preparation, public hearings, and legislative documentation
- Ensure compliance with Florida Sunshine Law and public records request procedures
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Coordinate interdepartmental record-keeping systems and retention policies
- Serve as the official custodian of city seals and legal documents
- Provide administrative support to the Mayor's Office and City Council
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Deep knowledge of Florida public records laws and municipal governance
- Advanced proficiency in document management systems (e.g., Laserfiche)
- Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Florida Notary Public commission or ability to obtain within 90 days
