Responsibilities
- Oversee municipal elections including ballot preparation, voter registration, and certification processes
- Manage and preserve official city records, meeting minutes, and legislative documents
- Administer oaths of office and notarization services for city officials
- Coordinate public records requests ensuring compliance with open meeting laws
- Facilitate city council meetings and legislative documentation
- Manage municipal licenses, permits, and business registrations
- Develop public-facing communications for civic processes and events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or public sector experience
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Expertise in Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) Title 9 elections laws
- Advanced proficiency with records management software and document imaging systems
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license
