Responsibilities
- Oversee all municipal records management, including ordinances, resolutions, and meeting minutes
- Administer city elections, voter registration, and absentee ballot processes
- Manage public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Prepare and maintain official city documents, including oaths of office and contracts
- Coordinate with city departments and elected officials on legislative processes
- Issue licenses, permits, and certificates as required by municipal code
- Lead public-facing initiatives to enhance civic engagement and transparency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal government or public sector experience
- Proficiency in records management systems and document automation
- Deep knowledge of Wisconsin election law and open records statutes
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Certification as Municipal Clerk (MCM) preferred
