Responsibilities
- Oversee maintenance and certification of official city records, ordinances, and minutes
- Manage public records requests and document retention protocols
- Administer municipal elections and voter registration processes
- Coordinate City Council meeting logistics and documentation
- Serve as custodian of the city seal and official documents
- Implement records management systems compliant with state regulations
- Provide administrative support to City Council and city departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of municipal records management experience
- Proficiency in records management software (e.g., Laserfiche, OnBase)
- Knowledge of Texas Public Information Act and election laws
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
