Responsibilities
- Manage and preserve all official city records, ordinances, resolutions, and legislative documents
- Oversee municipal elections, voter registration, and ballot administration processes
- Provide administrative support to City Council including agenda preparation and meeting coordination
- Ensure compliance with California Public Records Act and open meeting laws
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals
- Manage records retention programs and document destruction protocols
- Coordinate public information requests and document accessibility initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3 years municipal government or records management experience
- Proficiency in California election laws and municipal procedures
- Advanced knowledge of records management systems and document retention policies
